I’d like to let you know about the latest changes within the Mercedes-Benz Cars press team.
Firstly, please join me in welcoming Andrew Dean to the team as our new PR Manager. Andrew started his career at Mercedes-Benz in 2013 within Mercedes-Benz Retail Group, before moving over to the Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing team. Most recently, he’s held the role of CASE Implementation Manager, responsible for the roll-out of our Connected, Autonomous, Shared & Services, Electric strategies in the UK. Andrew’s first day will be Tuesday, 1st October.
Jo Watkins has returned from maternity leave to the role of Digital Press Officer. Jo will be taking on part time hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 09:30 until 15:00; Tuesday and Thursday 09:00 until 17:00. Jo’s new role will have a particular focus on all things digital, especially important in today’s ever-changing media landscape.
I’m delighted to say that Rachel Goodwin will be staying on in the role of Senior Press Officer, and will continue to be your main contact for all product-related enquiries.
Jessica Turvey has also joined the team as our new Corporate Communications Intern. Jess will be with us for one year, before returning to finish her degree in International Tourism at the University of Chester.
Kate Price remains the key contact for all press car booking requests, assisted by Jane Holmes, and the rest of the team stays the same - Sheena Hamilton (Senior Press Officer, Lifestyle and Fashion); Nicole Campbell (PA to the Communications Director); and Communications Director Debbie Hull.
