Mercedes-Benz celebrates 16th season as official car sponsor of London Fashion Week

Mercedes-Benz continues its long-standing relationship with London Fashion Week, as official car sponsor.

From Friday 15th to Tuesday 19th September, Mercedes-Benz will move UK and international media, bloggers, celebrities, buyers and designers around the capital to curated shopping galleries from over 150 international and British brands, catwalk shows, industry talks and style presentations.  This season, the fashion fleet includes the iconic Mercedes-Benz G-Class.

The show-stopping fleet of coloured Mercedes-Benz G-Class models includes the Mercedes-AMG G 63, marking the 50 Years of AMG.

The iconic G-Class is also the star of the Mercedes-Benz London Fashion Week social campaign. Mercedes-Benz has teamed up with music artist Ella Eyre, TV presenters Maya Jama and Laura Jackson and British Vogue’s Sarah Harris, to create a social campaign with a difference – ‘Style Match’.

A bespoke photoshoot featuring four G-Classes shows each model in a different theme: ’Off-Road’, ‘On-Road’, ‘Heritage’ and ‘Design’.

Set against the backdrop of Hoxton Docks, Ella Eyre brings to life the ‘Off-Road’ ruggedness, in a camouflaged jumpsuit accompanied by the striking Designo Night Black Magno G-Class.

Maya Jama, reveals her take on street style at Welbeck Street car park, reflecting the ‘On-Road’ performance and durability of the Galactic Beam purple G-Class.

Shot in front of the Serpentine Pavilion in Kensington Gardens, Sarah Harris’ trademark look of jeans and leather jacket epitomises the originality and ‘Heritage’ of the Polar White G-Class.

Photographed in Shoreditch, Laura Jackson highlights the distinctive and angular look of the Mauritius Blue G-Class with a bold geometric inspired outfit.

The campaign will go live on @mercedesbenzuk from 15th September, with new content released daily over London Fashion Week.
