In 2004 Mercedes-Benz stunned the world of automotive design with the introduction of the CLS, a new kind of car which combined the elegance and beauty of a large coupé with the accessibility and space of a four-door saloon. Now Mercedes-Benz is building on the success of the new CLS-Class with the addition of the new CLS Shooting Brake.
Imbued with the innovative design and engineering which has characterised Mercedes-Benz cars for more than 125 years, it draws inspiration from the coupé-like estates loved by sportsmen, and especially shooting parties, in the 1950s and 1960s – and nowhere more so than in Great Britain.
The CLS Shooting Brake blends luxury, comfort and elegance with the efficiency, safety and attention to detail that are Mercedes-Benz hallmarks. A stylish combination of form and function, both beautiful yet practical, it is a car that truly sits on its own in the luxury sector.
Prices range from £49,360 for the CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Shooting Brake to £83,030 for the muscular CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake, and buyers have the choice of the sumptuously-appointed standard specification or upgrading to the more dynamic AMG Sport specification, with a £2,995 step-up.
