At a glance

Combining the versatility of seven full-sized seats, a luxuriously appointed cabin and all-wheel-drive capability, underpinned by class-leading levels of safety and driver-assistance technology, the GL-Class is the last word go-anywhere versatility. Muscular BlueTEC six-cylinder diesel power

Beneath the ML 350 BlueTEC’s bonnet is a powerful 2,987cc V6 diesel that generates 258 hp at 3,600 rpm and 620 Nm of torque at 1,600-2,400 rpm, which powers the ML 350 BlueTEC to 62 mph in just 7.9 seconds and onto a 137 mph top speed, while returning combined economy and CO2 emission figures of 36.2 mpg and 209 g/km. It drives both axles through 4MATIC intelligent electronic all-wheel drive and seven-speed 7G-Tronic Plus automatic transmission, complete with ECO start/stop.

BlueTEC technology

The BlueTEC system injects AdBlue®, an aqueous urea solution, into the exhaust gas stream. This chemical reaction releases ammonia, which converts up to 80 per cent of the harmful nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gases into harmless nitrogen and water.

Generous Standard Equipment

Sumptuous levels of standard specification include 21-inch AMG five-spoke alloy wheels; 19-inch sports brakes with perforated front discs and brake calliper covers with ‘Mercedes-Benz’ lettering; Easy-Pack powered tailgate; AirMATIC air suspension; AMG bodystyling; aluminium finish running boards with rubber studs and LED illumination; electric glass sunroof; Intelligent Light System; Parktronic with Active Park Assist; COMAND Online with Media Interface; automatic climate control; Electrically folding and raising third row rear seats, and Audio 20 radio/CD with Becker® Map Pilot navigation system

A button-activated off-road function modifies the mapping of the engine, transmission and safety systems for more demanding off-road work.
